On Saturday morning of 14 July, 9 am - 12 noon, PLEG is planting beside the Werribee River at Cobbledicks Ford Reserve, Mt Cotterell.

Everyone is welcome to join us. Morning tea is provided, and during the break, a landcare member will describe the birds and animals which are dependent on the native grasses which we will be planting, and the volcanic gorge ecology.

Look out for our working bees

To all tree planters,

Our Pinkerton Landcare & Environment Group's next working bee will be held on Sunday 24th June from 9.30am -12.30pm

We will plant the Woolly Tea-trees and River Bottlebrush shrubs grown by one of our members Irene Cook, by the riverbank at Pinkerton Flat.

Boxthorns have been removedby Melbourne Water this year. Afterwards we will go on an exploratory walk, viewing the naturally occurring wildflowers, climbers and the native raspberry; as well as progress of weed control works by the contractors on the native grassland and escarpment above.

Everyone is welcome
