Working Bee

We are planning our monthly working bee for this coming Sunday, 1 Nov from 9 -12 noon, watering the plants installed on the Werribee River at Pinkerton Flat, followed by a walk to explore the lovely riverine area. 

Let's meet at Butlers Road, entrance to WWTP, at 9am Melway map 221 C4, if you are coming later please ring Daryl on m. 0438 277 252 and we will meet you and guide you to the river.

Buckets, and hammers to straighten out any stakes which may have collapsed will be useful.

When undertaking the e DNA platypus testing on Sunday we were pleased to see some of the red gums naturally regenerating and Irene's River bottlebrushes flourishing, despite the dry conditions on the river bank.
