Description

Our next working bee date is on Sunday 24 July 2016 from 9:30am -2:00pm.

To PLEG members, planters and anyone else who enjoys being outside besides the beautiful Werribee River.

We have had a few working bees at Pinkerton Flat where several Robinia trees have been cut down (as they were garden escapees) and it is now a good time of the year to burn them, keeping warm and having a barbecue at the same time.
We also wish to plant common tussock grass and some wattles in the morning.

BYO food or BBQ supplies; however, morning tea will be provided by PLEG.
An informal barbecue plate will be available to cook on.

Meet at 9.20am (ready for a 9.30 departure,) at Butlers Road,
Butlers Road is between Exford Road & Mt Cottrell road,  near the entrance to the Western Water Treatment Plant
The treatment plant is 600m along Butlers Road, in from Greigs Road, Mt. Cottrell.
We will then drive in a convoy (along a farm track) to the river, or share cars; whatever suits people best.

The location for meeting can be found on Melway Map 221 C4, where the entrance to the Treatment Plant (Surbiton Park) is shown on Butlers Road.
