Working Bee at Pinkerton Flat
Description
Our next working bee date is on Sunday 1st April 2018 from 9:20 am -12:30 pm.
There is still a need to undertake some weed control within the rabbit proof area, where weeping grass, tree violets and red gums are naturally regenerating. We also wish to create habitat and sheltered areas to create conditions where native plants can germinate by scattering old branches over the flood plain.
Afterwards an exploratory Easter walk is planned.
Participants meet at the Mt. Cottrell Road gate entrance to Pinkerton Forest, see Melway reference Map 221 H 7.
Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy this naturally beautiful area.
