Description

Our next working bee date is on Saturday 15 April 2017 from 9am -12 noon.

Following recent good rains conditions should be ready for planting, while the soil is still warm.

150 Tree violets (including the rare form, the Volcanic Plain variant), have been held over from last year waiting for better conditions to be planted. These shrubs provide ideal cover for small birds.

Pinkerton Link (12 ha) is a long term project, of restoring a nationally significant Grey Box Grassy woodland, linking Pinkerton Forest with it's northern extension in Mulla Mulla Grassland.

Everyone is most welcome, and morning tea is provided.

Participants meet at the Mt. Cottrell Road gate entrance to Pinkerton Forest, see Melway reference Map 221 H 7.
