As part of implementation of the Envirofund Grant, Pinkerton Landcare and Environment Group will be monitoring the native vegetation & fauna, and undertaking some enhancement planting. To achieve this, native vegetation will be recorded at strategic locations in the early morning, as well as observing the local fauna (birds and insects). Don't forget to bring your binoculars. Following this we will proceed to the summit for morning tea, at 10.30 am onwards. Here the history and the geology of the Mount will be relayed to the group. Everyone is most welcome. |
