Planting native grasses at Exford

Meet at the carpark at Exford Reserve at the bottom of the hill.
Exford Reserve is at the T intersection where Exford Road meets Exford-Parwan Road (Greigs Road).

Details:

Pinkerton Landcare & Environment Group will be planting native grasses beside the Werribee River at Exford. Planting will be about fifty metres past the carpark.

Additional info:

The group invites anyone interested to join them planting native grasses by the riverside. This will be followed by a walk along the river.

Morning Tea & refreshments will be provided. Please wear sturdy footwear.

This is a picturesque spot where Toolern Creek meets the Werribee River. The river flows through a narrow volcanic gorge, beneath ancient Red Gum trees, with dramatic basalt cliffs & escarpments towering above.

Pinkerton Landcare & Environment Group has been restoring the natural environment in this scenic & spectacular site, in partnership with Melbourne Water & Western Water.
