Walk on the Wildside - Werribee River Volcanic Gorge

This walk will follow the course of the Werribee River Volcanic Gorge in it's lower section from Exford to Boundary Road.

This is a dramatically beautiful part of the river, natural and heritage features abound. The participants will need to be fit, the distance is approximately 6km and will involve scrambling up hills and over rocks.

We will have a morning break at Moloneys Reserve and lunch (BYO) at the Davis property, cnr. Boundary and Dukelows Road.

A car shuffle will be required, can the Werribee people meet at 8am at the Davis' property Mel. Map 227 3 D.

from there a car or two will travel north to meet the Melton people who will meet at the top of the Greigs Road cutting, adjacent to the Western Water boundary and opposite the entrance into the Strathtulloh homestead, and park on the secure side road within the Council treed area. Mel.Map 221 A2.
