Spring Wildflower Walk - Parwan Paddock

We will meet at the Parwan Fire station, Melways (Edition 35) Map 340 F3.

View the Parwan Paddock, where wildflowers are to be found and see the results of direct seeding from native grass, and view a weed control experiment using sugar to lock up the nutrients in the soil.

We will continue to Mulla Mulla Grasslands (Bush's Paddock) on Mt. Cottrell Road, where the early spring flowers are flourishing. However, some of the late blooming plants are still in bud, just waiting for the rain to develop further.

Don't forget to bring you cameras, as there is quite a colourful display,

Morning tea will be provided, please bring a cup and a chair.
