Clean Up Australia Day 2007- Mowbray College, Melton.

The Clean-Up along the Werribee River was undertaken by a group of students from Mowbray College, from the 8 MM Homegroup and the Science and Environment Committee. Led by their teacher, Ivan Moore, Sustainable Schools Co-ordinator.

Mowbray College students collected several bags of rubbish from Exford Reserve and the Werribee River.

Plastic tree guards were removed from mature shrubs allowing them to flourish further. A surprise find was an old safe!

It was a very successful event both for the environment and for the amenity of the Reserve, many thanks to Mowbray College.
