Pinkerton Landcare & Environment Group (PLEG) is concerned with the restoration of native grasslands and grassy grey-box woodlands, including the grassy woodland of Pinkerton Forest, the nearby native grassland in Mulla Mulla Grasslands (Bush's Paddock) and of the adjacent section of the Werribee River Volcanic Gorge, (which adjoins Western Water Treatment Plant at Surbiton Park) within the Shire of Melton, Victoria, Australia.

Clean Up Day - Sun 4 March

Clean Up Australia activity at Cobbledicks Ford Reserve, Werribee River, in the City of Wyndham on Sunday 4 March 2012.

The address of Cobbledicks Ford Reserve is Melways Map 227 B10 and will start at 9am and finish when ready but no later than 12 noon.

PLEG meeting - Tues 21st Feb 2012

Ecological Restoration of the Werribee River Volcanic Gorge 2011

The Department of Sustainability and Environment (Vision for Werribee Plains) has awarded a grant of $ 32,900 to Pinkerton Landcare and Environment Group (PLEG) toward the ecological restoration of the Werribee River Volcanic Gorge.
