Wyndham Council has transformed this beautiful reserve, by planting local native plant species, especially adapted for the low-rainfall volcanic plains. It is now a very pleasant location to walk, hold a family picnic and play games with your children.
Cobbledicks Ford Reserve, at the bottom of a valley in the Werribee River Volcanic Gorge, is a little-known park with plenty of natural vegetation and amazing views. An open day on Sunday, March 29, gives locals a chance to learn about the history of the reserve and its abundant flora and fauna.
